Let’s blow this popsicle stand!
Ready for adventure
The real question now is where should we go? Camping, hiking or somewhere completely different? City life is great, but thanks to a simple package from my aunt and uncle I learned that my love for the road is still strong. Some instincts never go away.
Like this instinct, for example…
We’re not ditching Chicago (I still have to pay rent, and I enjoy having my own bed), but we are definitely looking for a fun day/weekend road trip to get outside the city for a while. If you have any suggestions or recommendations about the types of trips you like to bring your dog on, be sure to let me know!
Last photo must have been a ‘light blue touch paper and stand well back’ moment!
I know Detroit is the pits but we live in a suburb….come and visit and Eko can meet our Sheltie, Dakota! (and our kitty!)
I always laugh when I see Eko. He knows how to accessorise.
Eko looks great in his shades!
That travel bug is hard to shake! 🙂
Be sure and check out Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Mackinac Island, Michigan. Fall colors in Michigan are beautiful. Starts to get cold this time of year but no crowds and dog friendly.
According to Tripadvisor, The Ritz Carlton in Chicago is pet friendly and offer a B&B package…maybe a staycation with Breakfast in bed for you and your significant others.
Dude and Eko. The swag looks good on you both. Be sure to upload a photo of Eko to the Salty Dog web site.
Eko looks so cool in those glasses!
