Pets improve morale, reduce stress and inevitably make people smile more. And that is why many companies realize that having a pet-friendly office actually improves employee productivity. But did you know that if you have a pet-friendly office you could win a $5,000 pet-friendly office design package, $1,800 cash and a $10,000 donation to a pet-welfare organization!?
My home office doesn’t qualify, but you don’t have to tell me how great it is to have a pet by your side during office hours.
The IT department is top notch
Our accountant is a tireless worker
And the photographer is the best in the biz!
To nominate your current place of work you need to submit an essay that talks about your company’s pet-friendly policies in a way that will inspire other companies to integrate pets into their workplace. Submit the essay with 3-5 photos of pets at you office and you’re all set! Entries are accepted until January 15th so don’t wait – submit your essay today! Good luck and let me know if you or a friend submit and essay/entry, I would love to check it out.
Sure wish I could take my dog(s) to work, but prohibited by law. Sigh.
i love your office staff!!! Eko is so cute.
That is so cool, In the UK they don’t really like accommodating the dog. If I owned a company I would have a doggy day care center there 🙂
Mollie and Alfie
Lol. What an amazing office and workers you have:) Your posts are always the best.
Hey Eko, Jet here. Hi Mr. Will.
If only … says Mom! When the boss’s wife brings her K9s in occasionally, Mom tries to get some fur time, however, they frown on it. 🙁
Eko looks pretty smart in those glasses!
Will, sort of off-topic but how do you feel about introducing the wrong people to the breed? I have RR’s and when they’re in public… well, I’m sure you know the constant stream of people asking what breed, etc. I always feel guilty when someone who clearly is a terrible fit for the breed asks about them. They just see the happy, intelligent, well behaved “working” side, and not the countless hours of training, patience, and occasional calamity required to raise and live with one. It bugs me to think consumer types might go obtain one, get frustrated, and tie it up in their backyard or something. I’m probably sounding really condescending, just can’t think of a better way to word it. Have any tips for handling questions from the public?
Very cool! I’d like to see photos of the winning entries!
We nominated you for an Inspiring Blog Award. http://bit.ly/VPAHiw If you don’t do awards, just consider it our way of showing appreciation for your blog and introducing other bloggers to you! 🙂
I’ll bet Eko is the best photograph of the world ;o) Sadly my mom is a (desperated?) Housewife and my dad has his own office, so we can’t participate, I think. But I try to get my own office ;o)
I’ve nominated you for the Wonderful Team Readership Award:

this dog is amazing! 😀
Eko looks very smart in those nifty glasses!
Love the video and the pics…right up mom and my alley! We used to be in the office but that was in Germany, now we are at work with mom most of the time but it is her home office or the car, so those don’t count. She loves working from home and we love hanging out with her all the time. Just me, I have to work on my blog and social media but she is always nearby! Great post!
