We checked in on the petting zoo
Enjoyed some nice outdoor dining
And of course, we hit the beach!
Eko soaked up the sun and all the attention he got from the thousands of people at the beach
Of course, he had to show off by zooming and rolling through the sand, so we got to take about five pounds of the beach home with us
I think with a day of rest and a couple square meals my canine alarm clock will be as good as new. Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!
yep! Eko was “dog-tired” for sure!
What’s the good of a visit to the beach, if you don’t take a pound or two of it home?
But Eko also seems to have a lot of beach on his tongue. Doesn’t that bother him?
Look at that sandy tongue!
LOL! That is funny. I don’t over sleep usually but when I am worn out I go upstairs and crawl in my bed early. Mom looks all over for me until she realized I went to bed 🙂 Rest up my friend!
I never fail to wake my parents up before any alarm clock they set.
WE know all about that 5 lbs. of sand…hopefully not all over the house! Eko has Sage beat. She’s definitely NOT a morning person…well, unless you mention ‘walk’, ‘beach’, 1000 Acres… You get the drift!
While watching your pictures I have “on the beach” from chris rea in my head :o)
Our canine alarm clock seems to be broken too… it keeps going off earlier and earlier! It used to go off at 8:30 on weekends, but the last month or so was 7:00… and now apparently it’s 6:30! How do I fix it? 😉

Mummy wishes her canine clock was broken – i woke her up at 2.30am cos I fancied sitting out in the garden for a bit
