Eko is a seasoned traveler, so when we hit the road he usually sleeps until we reach our destination. There is however one notable exception to this rule. Eko knows EXACTLY how to get to the beach and if he sees that’s where we’re going he fidgets and wags his tail like crazy for the entire ride. Eko loves romping in parks, through fields and up mountains, but there is no doubt in my mind that his favorite place in the entire world is the beach.
The beach gives Eko some extra pep to his step
Our trips to the beach always begin with Eko’s happy dance
In between romps Eko can cool off in the water – and when circumstances permit, steal toys from his friends
Maybe it’s because he is a puppy at heart, but Eko LOVES playing with puppies. There’s no better place than the beach for herding some of the little guys
Friends of all sizes are plentiful at the beach – this is what it looks like for one of those friends when Eko is coming over to play
I love watching the sand whip up as Eko and friends fly across the beach
After a trip to the beach Eko is guaranteed to be very tired and very happy
Maybe its our New Jersey roots, but I’m with Eko – nothing beats a day at the beach! Does your pet have a favorite place?
Now we like to walk in the woods but in Germany we were 100% beach bums. Lived right on the North Sea coast, the beach was just on the other side of the dike, we just loved it! I would say we were there 5-6 days a week. Even when I was a tiny pup Mom would carry me out there and then let me romp. That beach was about 7 miles long and up to a mile wide in places so it was massive and massive fun with all the dog racing around. Us dogs and Mom miss it, but now we enjoy the woods.
I’m with Eko, my favorite place would be the beach too (and this is the MOM!)
Hi Y’al!
Just stopped to say hi. Was visiting Misty Shores.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
I like the beach – but only when we have ebb tide – my mom loves the beach, because I’m always dog tired after this walks :o)
I wish I could romp on the beach with Eko!
No not really…Trev is just happy when we are simply together…love that pic with Eko and the pups!!!!
The best dog I ever had was nick and was a cocker spaniel. That boy knew exactly where we were when we turned down the road for camp. As soon as I turned down that dirt road nick would dance all over the car leaving dog drool and excited piddles everywhere.
