A Transformation Under The Full Moon

But then I started hearing low werewolf-like growls from Eko’s contorted body

And then the fanged beast appeared!  Or at least it looked that way to me.

Turns out that Eko was just having one of his “sleepwalking” episodes that never fail to crack me up.  I particularly enjoy his “monster face” where on the frequent occasions Eko falls asleep upside down (no clue how that’s comfortable) his mouth droops and his “fangs” show.

Anyone else have a pup who sleeps upside down like that?

My mom tells me that I turn into psycho piggy like that sometimes. I grumble in my sleep dreaming of playing with the rabbits in the backyard. Sometimes I snore. But in NO way can I be as cute as you Eko. That first picture especially with the moon – breathtaking! I give you three hooves up for that one but I would fall over 🙂 XOXO – Bacon

  2. Kuruk says:

Sistah Nalle sleeps like that sometimes. She growls and sometimes even howls like a real wolf in her sleep! Woooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  3. Steven/Buddy says:

That is how Buddy sleeps almost all the time. After I adopted him, it was about a week later he started laying on his back and falling asleep, I would crack up at first.
He will also sit up in the front seat of my truck when we go for a car ride. He looks like he is watching where we go, just in case we get lost and he has to take over. He sits up like a person would and passing people look and start laughing.

  4. love it! Sometimes Dakota does, he refuses to use a dog bed

  5. Every day in our house Boomer sleeps upside down on the couch while Dottie sleep upside down on the floor up against a wall. And, it’s so funny when they start running and yipping in their sleep!

    Fantastic shot! So clear! 😀

  7. Mustang.Koji says:

LMAO! I believe all animals have dreams of one sort or another. I’m sure they enter REM sleep, too. The ex’s dog makes sounds and twitches her paws when she’s dreaming but nothing like Eko. 🙂

  8. Emmadog says:

I sleep like a twisted pretzel, and my sister sleeps on her back with all her paw up sometimes. Eko sure does look scary with those fangs showing, though!

  9. sisubeads says:

Both of my girls do, it is so funny, I will have to go through my photos. Kiss your werewolf for me.

  10. Hey you had a blue moon! Great! Best time for treasure hunt. I’m such an upside down sleeper – and it’s not fair to take pictures of me in this position :o)

  11. writetowag says:
