Opening Up The Puppy Photo Archives

In the past I have posted a few photos of Eko when he was a puppy and a number of people suggested I post some more.  Unfortunately, I didn’t get snap-happy with my camera until Eko was a bit older so I don’t have a lot of puppy photos

In the past I have posted a few photos of Eko when he was a puppy and a number of people suggested I post some more.  Unfortunately, I didn’t get snap-happy with my camera until Eko was a bit older so I don’t have a lot of puppy photos to begin with. Nevertheless I have been meaning to dig through all my folders and scrounge together the puppy photos I could find.  I’m glad I did it because it was fun to remember that Eko was not always a big knucklehead, he started as a little knucklehead first!

Eko and his brother Petey reunited for the first time.  Of course, much romping and tumbling ensued

He was a contortionist snoozer from the day I brought him home

When he wasn’t sleeping Eko liked to carry sticks that were bigger than he was

It’s always the cute ones who are troublemakers!

Thanks again to those who reminded me I should get all these puppy photos in one place, it was so much fun to remember the puppy days.  And make sure to learn from my mistake, don’t wait to take photos of your puppy or kitten – they’ll be all grown up before you know it!

  4. It’s no wonder Eko is so handsome now. He was an EXQUISITE puppy! Thanks so much for sharing!

  5. Emmadog says:

Mom tells everyone that has a new puppy to take at least one photo a day because we change so much so fast. Eko was a real cutie, now a handsome boy!

  6. Jorie says:

Oh my god, you made my day! Eko was such a chubby little punim! Those facial expressions. Did you choose him out of a litter? What’s his adoption story?! (Maybe another blog post idea? 🙂 )

  7. Eko, you were a beautiful baby! And you grew into your head and ears beautifully! They’re a perfect fit!

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  8. Delft says:

Aww, so cute! The troublemaker is my personal favourite.

On the technical side: if there are no previous entries in the topic-stream for a particular tag, it’s not likely there are people following it. Tags like “photo”, “photos”, “dog” and “pets” are fairly popular.

  9. Aw… baby Eko… so smoochable!

  10. Such a fleeting moment 😉

  11. houndstooth4 says:

I know what you mean! Küster seems like he grew up so fast. He was such a cute little fuzzball, but it was over way too fast!

  12. Ogee says:

So cute! Looks like it took him a while to grow into all that skin!

  13. Awwww! He’s so sweet!

  14. Boomdeeadda says:

So true Will, they grow before our very eyes. I love the one of Eko sitting side saddle on his little bum. What a cutie, you must have fallen madly in love.

  15. writetowag says:

  16. Nightshade says:

awww, how cute are those puppy pictures! When I browse through the puppy pictures every now and then, I just can’t believe how little and cute Killian has been. Ophelia is still a puppy now, but it’s amazing how much she’s grown the past few weeks.
    greets,
    Karolien

  18. Misaki says:

he certainly was a cutie 🙂

  19. joanb49 says:

Love the puppy choosing video. Just why is it that so many pups like to carry around big sticks? What a cutie.

  20. Peppino says:

He was (and is) adorable!! I just love those ears, what a cutie pie puppy!!

  21. I just LOVE those ears and paws 😆 We took loads of puppy snaps of our boys (Mr B keeps telling me how much hd space the pics are taking up, only we can’t bear to delete any of them – not even the failed blurry ones!) But recently I found myself missing the very things I wanted to capture because I was trying to find the camera or sort its settings, so sometimes I make the decision to just have the memories and really enjoy the moment 😀

  22. sisubeads says:

There are still 9 puppies in that litter that got Parvo. I am going up next week or the week after, depending on a few things. I hope to be posting puppy pictures soon!

  23. oh my what a super cute puppy 🙂 loved the big ears x
