Soaking Up The Last Weeks Of Summer

Somehow, and without my notice, the calendar says that August is more than halfway over.  Labor Day is only a couple weeks away and fall weather is surely not too far behind. We love all seasons but Eko is a summer dog at heart, so I have made trips to the dog beach a priority while the weather lasts.

As you can see, Eko certainly appreciates my efforts

After a romp through the waves, Eko does his best “beached-whale” impression

And when he is not kicking up sand, there is no better place than the dog beach for Eko’s favorite non-moving activity: sunbathing!

A trip to the dog beach is guaranteed to make both humans and dogs grin from ear to ear

As an added bonus, after the beach Eko turns into a couch potato for the rest of the day

Anyone else have any summer bucket-list items they’re trying to squeeze in?
