If you guessed “Eko with all his stuff packed neatly away” you would be right, but if you guessed “wishful thinking” you would be even more right!

Eko doesn’t have a lot of toys and bones, but I swear it is like he strategically places them on the floor exactly where he knows I’m going to walk.  It’s especially bad in the mornings when I’m not fully awake.

I do my best to keep Eko’s toys organized, but they never stay in one place for long. And of course as soon as I put the toys away it just happens to be the exact moment Eko wants to take them all out and play.

It only occurred to me recently that I might be able to save myself some time (and twisted ankles) if I taught Eko the “clean up” command I have seen other dogs learn. I’m off to start on some research, but does anyone have experience teaching their dog to put toys away?  I would love to hear any suggestions and recommendations.  Thanks!
