Double Trouble

From the looks of it, it seems like Eko grew an extra leg for this photo. We know that little leg back there isn’t growing from the lump we got checked out.  Let’s take a closer look It’s Eko’s little pal, Riley!

Hidden dog trick

It’s Eko’s little pal, Riley!

My friend Rachel was out of town, so Eko and I watched Riley for the night.  Riley was a bit anxious last time she stayed over, but the other night I was happy to see she was perfectly at home.

When Eko wasn’t trying it out for himself, that is!

Eko also taught Riley the rule that in my apartment, dogs get two couch cushions each and I only get one

It was also fun to see how Eko and Riley are building a friendship and a level of comfort as they spend more time together.  During our last sleep over the two kept to themselves on the couches, but this time they seemed quite content to cozy up.

I know Eko likes Riley because he doesn’t even give me that much space on the couch!

It was so much fun having another pup around for the day.  The visit certainly added some fuel to the fire for wanting to look into getting Eko a little sibling!

    How cute !
It sure looks like to me, that she really looks up to Eko.
So Will, when you going to make Eko a.Big Brother ? Sure looks like both of you guys are ready ! You already mastered raising Eko, and you now have Eko to help you out ! What more can you ask for ?

  2. That photo is so funny because it really DOES look like Eko has an extra leg! Riley looks like a great buddy…..and it’s nice to know Eko is generous enough to share his space just in case you decide to add to the family there…… hint hint.

I thought “Double Trouble” might mean Eko WAS a big brother, but Riley sleeping over is the next best thing. Are you thinking a little sister or brother for Eko?

  4. Oooooo you should definitely get a cute new little furfriend for Eko! It will be so much fun!

    Have a great Monday

How fun! Friends visiting is always a good time. Remember if you are thinking of a new sibling, potty training in the winter is no fun, so try to plan around that! We are enjoying watching Mom running out with Bailie now and it isn’t all that cold but if you are in your pj’s or barefeet, 50 is chilly for humans!

  6. Judy says:

HAving a new dog in an apartment is hard, I think you are wise to wait, but the older dog can help train the new one…the pup will imitate the older dog!

  7. OMG THIS IS JUST BEYOND ADORABLE!!!

  8. they are so cute together… it’s interesting how Riley doesn’t look as small in the photos compared to the video.

  9. I love the two cushion rule.

  10. Mags Corner says:

Awwww, that last picture is so sweet. Laughed out loud when I saw the one where sweet Eko was trying out sweet Riley’s new bed…too funny!! The three of you look pretty comfy with you on one cushion and them on two. Hugs and nose kisses
