Once a puppy, always a puppy.  Eko may have gotten bigger in size, but when he’s upset or frustrated he still has the same exact whine as when he was just a little stinker. This week I heard that puppy whine quite a bit as I worked with Eko to teach him how to solve a puzzle for himself.

  1. I’m always “frustrated” with this wobblers and treat balls, because always one little piece comes out. How unfair :o)

  2. Emmadog says:

Good one. Bailie has had her ball stuck a few times and she cries. Right now Mom rescues her since she is little and just learning to eat that way is challenge enough, but that is a good idea to teach her one day how to get it for herself.

  3. Oh that was GREAT! Eko is so smart…..learning new stuff is fun and I know he was proud of himself to finally defeat the wobbler no matter WHERE it was!

    Good job Eko! Wooooowoooooooo!

  5. Sherrell fick says:

Good job Eko. Sammy has one of those orange balls that do the same thing and its her favorite toy, paws down. Have a great weekend.

  6. YAY EKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ****clapping paws**** YAY YOU too for training him so well 🙂 Have a great weekend guys!

  7. Awww he’s so cute! That looks like a lot of fun and great for keeping meals interesting. Our hooman has starting putting our veggies on sticks or string and hanging them up so whee have to work to get them. It certainly keeps our attention for a lot longer that way.

    Have a great wheekend

  8. Go Eko! Everyone needs a little whine with that 😉

  9. Dottie Wells and Tuffy "The Fat Cat" Wells says:

Kinda like humans learning to peel crawfish. lol I’ve known a lot of dogs in my days, but I believe Eko has got to be the most trainable, and quickest to learn new things. Plus, he is a great “Will Whisperer”. You just think you taught Eko how to get the toy out from under the bar stool. Actually, he wanted you to remember to jump and fetch when he whines. Good boy, Will. lol

Now, if I can just teach Tuffy cat to be nice to company. He picks favorites, and if you’re not on that list, lookout for those teeth and claws, although he is getting better about restraining himself! Have a wonderful “almost” fall weekend. It’s been slow getting here in Arkansas.

Sweet Eko you are handsome, smart and a fun dog to watch. We liked your whine but we also liked that you learned how to conquer that stool that kept getting your wobbler. Hugs and nose kisses
