We hit the park and Eko took a deep sniff of the the air…

And then, he was off! (Edit: click photo to load gif!)

You’re never too old or too young to play in the snow.  It was nice to forget my responsibilities and simply enjoy spending time in the swirling snow with my pup. On Saturday, the only thing better than getting into the snow was getting out of it!

By Sunday, things were back to full speed, but it was nice to pause the world for a day and enjoy the simple things that make life fun.  Definitely beats Christmas shopping!

  1. That’s true! the staff likes to play in the snow, they build a snow man every year and I sign the guy :o)

  2. Greatgif of Eko. And the last photo – priceless!

I agree, I love it when a good snowfall cancels chaos and lets you enjoy your own little world. You’re right, no one is EVER too old to play in the snow, nor to have a good cup of hot cocoa in front of the fire afterwards! (One of our favorite activities!) 😀

  4. Mags Corner says:

Oh, yes we are with you on that one. We would much rather spend a day like you two did than to Christmas shop. Love the pic with the snow on Eko’s nose. Hugs and nose kisses

  5. Emmadog says:

That is one thing Mom loves about us dogs, we get her to stop all the rushing and hectic stuff and just do simple fun stuff. We all love it and it makes her feel better too! Glad you had a blast and a nice fire to warm up in front of.

  6. terrimm says:

Oh, that’s so true isn’t it ~ there is nothing in the world like snuggling with a warm puppy.

  7. Awww whee love that last warming up pigture! That’s what whee do, only with less of the running and none of the outdoors!

Just remember not to eat the ‘yellow’ snow. Merry Christmas and more to come for you and Eko, Will.
