Eko and I hit the road tomorrow for Christmas in New Jersey.  Of course before then there is no shortage of frantic packing and preparation.  While I was upstairs cleaning Eko decided to get the Christmas party started early.

Merry Christmas!

Well, this was meant for the recycling bin.  Although I can’t fault Eko for unwrapping these “presents.”  Way too much fun!

And when I went out to switch loads of laundry I bet you will be shocked to discover who I found in my seat on the couch.

Someone’s got to watch the fire, I guess

And all that reindeer training has Eko offering some unique suggestions on the fastest way to travel home.

Sky is the limit

Eko and his pal suggested we fly home, courtesy of his friend’s sleigh. I appreciated the offer, but…

Some things you just have to do the old fashioned way

Early to bed and early to rise to get started on a long ride back to NJ.  Luckily Eko is a champ in the car and he is generally happy to sleep his way across the country.

Looking forward to being home for the holidays!

Comments for Christmas Come Early

Well Eko, we have our 24 hour rides behind us for this year…next stop Vegas in May and that will be another 24 hour ride. I like to sleep in the car too, but a dog can only sleep so much, it gets rather boring I must say! Drive safely and have a super fun holiday! Let your dad take the wheel on occasion too…especially on toll roads so you can save your cash for some treats in NJ!

  2. Marcela says:

Great pictures as always. You know what? Eko looks so tired that it seems as if he were the one packing and doing laundry:-) Have an uneventful and safe trip with Eko.

  3. Happy Holidays Will and Eko 🙂

Safe a safe drive! Hopefully there aren’t too many crazies on the road, although I’m sure you’re a pro at avoiding them by now!

  9. Driving cross country will be a blast. Eko can drive part of the way. He looks good-to-go in his shades! Have fun!
