“Penny! This is my side!”
“Go back to your side!”
Eko was not thrilled with Penny’s incursion, but my little girl can be quite persuasive.
“Bro, relax. Just hear me out.”
“Let me roll you over like this…”
“Ok, now you stay like this. And give me a second…”
“Perfect!”
50% of my dogs think this is a great idea
The USA isn’t favored in their World Cup efforts, but hopefully Penny has provided some inspiration. You don’t have to be the biggest dog to come out on top!
wow so cute – she got what she wanted – and Eko is none the worse for wear – too adorable.
Just like a woman! We always win.
It was bound to happen. And it’s cute as the dickens. LOVE that last picture.
So cute!!! Looks like they got things settled in their own way!
Pam
I can just see Penny now. “I own you.”
Gah! Penny wins! You gave it a shot, E, but some fights aren’t worth fighting. She’s too cute, and you’re too cute together!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Lol. How could you possibly say no to such a cute face:-) Go Penny!
Great outcome for Penny! PS My money’s on Ivory Coast!
Eko is looking at you like…”Hey, Will, get this thing off me”…
Penny is adorable though.
That’s just TOO cute!! Eko is patient and Penny is silly – a perfect combination! 🙂
Haha Eko’s face in the second to last photo is perfect! Siblings are the same in every species!
That is such a good idea Penny, I can tell Eko isn’t too thrilled but I’m sure the idea will grow on him. 😉
Eko, you need to put your paw down and let her know who the king of the palace is! I let Bailie know right away, I’m queen bee and she is below me. You are cute and fun to watch, though!
I soooo needed this! I have been without email (a MAJOR Time Warner/RoadRunner/Brighthouse outage) practically the entire time since last Wednesday…..I sooo needed to smile and this did the trick! THANK YOU!
These things can get out of hand. We three had a little scrappy-do about 3 this morning on Their bed.
The look on Eko’s face is priceless! And Penny looks very pleased with herself too.
You get the best action pictures of them. Love them.
Let the games begin! Like you said, Penny’s not large, but she’s definitely in charge.
And, you and Eko are both loving it.
Dottie and Tuffy-Cat
hmmm you need two dogs more and you could be the town musicians of Bremen :O)
Eko, Melvin feels your pain! Kudos to being such a great big bro!!!!
My favorite photo is of our Yellow Lab, Riley, as a puppy, sitting on top of our Rottie/Chow, Titan. He had the same look at Eko. Riley misses his “brother” everyday since we lost him. These photos brought back some great memories. Thanks for making my day 🙂

Have to say, Donna at 5 years old encountered a 6 month old chocolate lab at the dog run yesterday. She got outran, outplayed, outlasted. Those high energy, gamboling puppies… can’t beat them.
Oh man – so adorable! I’ve been away, so am catching up, but I love her name, love all the cute photos, and it’s awesome to see her settle in.
And, was just in Europe where the World Cup frenzy is insane. INSANE. Like, twice as crazy as you probably think it is. Canadians may love their hockey, but it pales in comparison to the enthusiasm I saw for soccer (“football”).
These pictures made me giggle and smile. I can only imagine how much fun you all are having at your place. Eko is just so sweet and he is doing very well with Penny isn’t he? Hugs and nose kisses
[…] I’ve used the futon and how the pups share it as a way to record Penny’s growth. As you can see in those two […]
