“Eko, what is this stuff!?”
After thoroughly sniffing/scratching the sand, Penny saw Eko take off and she wasted no time following in hot pursuit.
Loving the sand under her paws and the wind in her face
“Look dad, I’m a dinosaur!”
And when Eko took to the water to splash with some friends, Penny didn’t miss a beat
Penny shot in and out of the water with infectious glee
The beach also had a lesson to teach Penny.
“Hey Will, look, I’m running in the water, it’s so easy t….
Puppy overboard!
Penny learned the hard way (through capsizing) that bounding in the water takes a bit more technique than running on sand
As she shot out of the water Penny looked like she was in the middle of a shampoo commercial
The submarine mishap didn’t slow Penny down, but not long after she finally burned out. While I watched her closely, in all her excitement Penny lost track of me. Like a lost kid at Disney World, Penny just sat down and started whimpering. I never felt so heroic as when I scooped her up and she fell asleep in my arms as I carried her home.
Day one at the beach was an unequivocal, romping success. Hope everyone else had a great holiday too!
That is awesome! What fun! Bailie got to go to the dog park with a pond last weekend with Mom. It was her first time to really swim and she had a blast too. It’s a good lesson for Penny to learn to keep an eye on you at all times. Mom always hides from us at the park so we learn not to lose her. I bet she slept for a nice long time after that romp!
you need a periscope first to be a submarine, Penny :o) and she looks much bigger now, I have no clue why they grow so fast :o)
Ohhhh I LOVE THAT GIRL!
I’m jealous. In all my 12 years, I only got to the beach one day.
Awwwwwww!
Yay for warmer weather at the beach! We are just plodding along the on the sand still 🙂 Penny is fearless! And a most impressive Dad rescue too 🙂
Looks like a great time! Love the pics of the kids! Glad Penny enjoyed herself since Eko loves the beach!
That is one awesome way to cool off those floppy ears Penny 🙂 just perfect..had the theme music from 10 in my head hahahaah 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx
What a great series of shots. She is loving life isn’t she.
What a fun fun time, I love taking my dogs swimming and yes it tires them out.
Sounds like a TON of fun for Penny’s first major beach trip. All that exercise makes for a lot of “quiet time” later on doesn’t it?! Which is nice for all humans involved….HAHA
Pam
Awesome shots! Dogs and beaches are the best combo.
Great photos! I love watching Penny’s learning process as she’s exposed to all these new things. She’s one tough little girl! 😀
Super pictures and what fun Penny had at the beach. Reading about her falling asleep in your arms, just melted our hearts. What a sweet scene that must have been. Hugs and nose kisses
It’s really cool that Penny has Eko to take her cues from with regards what to do at the beach!! 🙂
Great photos! Looks like she took to the water instantly!
