[VIDEO] Our Trip to Chicago’s Best Dog Park

Yeah yeah, it’s not in Chicago, but I wish it was! The point is that if you live in Chicago you’re definitely close enough for a visit to Wolf Prairie, one of the biggest and best dog preserves I’ve ever visited. Check out the pups in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQMUh1pZN2s

Love the video! Looks like your dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 🙂

  2. Emmadog says:

Looks a lot like our favorite park. I bet there was a lot of snoring going on during the ride home. We always crash before the car is even out of the parking lot. Mom loves to watch us just run and romp freely too.

  3. that’s a wonderful place… think there dogs still can be dogs… who is the black pup? think he is in love with Penny :o)

  4. fredrieka says:

glad you have a place to romp. If you were here you could romp on our 17 aces. it is dog heaven

  5. Victoria says:

Penny is getting so big!! Love to see all 3 of them just having a great time! Have a great weekend.

  6. Sure, it’s enjoyable watching your children run and play, but nothing beats watching your dogs. There’s the energy, athleticism, and unabated joy in their entire being that we live vicariously. My father has a 100 acre ranch on the California north coast that provides the right Ridge temperature and all the brush and trees to run through. I am envious watching your video. We haven’t been up with the puppy yet (waiting for the snakes to go to ground) and watching Eko and Penny run through the brush makes me long for it. I can’t wait for my Tick Taxis to come barreling out of the trees with huge smiles on their mugs. Hopefully not with a wild boar on their heels though

  7. GAH! Those doggies are FAST! It’s lucky you jumped out of the way or they would’ve flattened you with love and excitement, W. I need a nap after watching them!

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  8. T&S says:

Love these two 🙂 They look like my husbands and mine two ridgebacks, we have a 2,5 years young boy and a 1,6 years young girl… double trouble :-)))) best regards… love the blog!

  9. Misaki says:

What a fantastic place to go!

  10. Sage says:

That is my kinda place! Sorta like my 1000 acres.

  11. Wow – that looks like a fabulous park – even 30 minute drive is worth it to see the pups having so much fun.

  12. Great video and fun place to go run
