Nothing like the sweet taste of freedom
For around ten minutes Penny dashed and danced her way across the slush. She really savored each stretch of her legs
Next item on the agenda was a romp with Eko
Penny and Eko were so engrossed in their romp they didn’t notice their Weim-pal Stella until she ambushed them
Penny didn’t let Stella get away though
Stella’s face says it all. Penny’s got her groove back.
Eko had plenty of extra pep in his step too
He led the girls in a wild game of tag
It was a beautifully wild rumpus of every-pup-for-himself
Until the ladies ganged up on Eko and he wisely made a hasty retreat
I’m glad our exile is over, but thanks to our time away I have a new appreciation for the simple joy of watching my pups play at the beach.  Life is better off-leash. And boy does it feel good to be back.
nothing better than watching the pups on a joyous romp – we are getting a ton more snow and Muffin and Rigs are loving every minute of playing in it
I guess my blood is thin – Brrrrrrr – looking at those pics makes me cold. I prefer swimming with the manatees in my back yard.
They must have been so happy to get out for a good romp. And I bet the slept well that day!
Oh you met a weim girl on the beach? do you know if she has a boyfriend? and can you ask for her phonenumber please?
if you had that much fun in the cold, wait til next week when your temps and ours hit a much more dog-friendly and HUMAN-FRIENDLY level!
The joyous looks on their faces say it all! Off leash is the only way to live life 😉
Penny should enjoy while she can. Isn’t the big snip coming?
Funny to see Eko and Penny “naked” and their friend in a coat! Glad they are back to normal.
ah yes, hard to beat happy puppies
Ours is coming this week.. It was below zero today it made me cranky and I got in a fight with BonBon boy was momwithoutpaws disappointed in me.. woof! I better not do that again
I’m kind of missing the thong thingy. 😉
Glad they all had a grand romp.
I am so happy for your “kids” to be able to get out. It shows on all their faces. I hope “Old Man Winter” stays away for a long time. They, and you, deserve it!
Now THAT’S what I call a great romping day! Happier pups there never have been. 🙂
Those faces really do say it all! “GAH! We’re freeeeeeeee!!!”
Were her feet ever on the ground? What a great time!
That last picture is AWESOME!!
Awwww looks like it was a fun day! And great action shots! 🙂
[…] actually very grateful to have seen all the pictures of Penny and Eko playing, because it’s helped a lot in me seeing what is “normal” dog play. Sad, I know, […]
