Eko leaped and bounded like Superman
And Penny only occasionally touched the ground
Spring is all about new beginnings and we got to witness a wonderful one. For the very first time, my brother brought Doc (his eight year-old adopted pointer) to the beach. It was glorious.
Doc tore across the beach with the excitement of a young puppy
Doc and Penny kicked up their paws and blew their ears back
It was a beautiful whirlwind of sand and smiles
After playing with Penny, Doc learned a very important lesson – how to avoid Penny!
Step 1: Hide with Eko near a human while Penny finds a new target
Step 2: Relax and enjoy watching another pup try to keep up with Penny
You are never too old for your first day at the beach
Spring is in the air, and so are these pups. Can’t wait for more warm weather adventures with Eko, Penny and Doc.
Glorious days! Another tremendous welcome for Doc… So glad it’s going well and that you were all able to enjoy the beach together.
to see the smile of a dog is just great… it’s more than to hit the lottery jackpot… ok… nearly lol
Woohoo!! Look at ’em go!! 😀 Doc lucked into a great canine family. 🙂
Fun times ahead for all!! Love the expression on Doc’s face. “Really! We get to run crazy like this!” Lucky guy to find his forever home where this is a regular part of his world :).
Happy Spring to all. And welcome back to your beloved beach
Wonderful!! Doc can’t believe how great life can be. Eko is looking good. And Penny.. well Penny, Penny, Penny…
In typically German Shorthair genius strategy, Doc is proving he’s one savvy pooch and no ordinary fool for Penny to crash into…repeatedly. Lucky for him that girl is a mover. Enjoy the beach and enjoy Spring!
Fantastic to see Doc out and about – and oh so happy and why wouldn’t he be being part of this awesome family. I love the shot with Doc and Eko just watching as Penny goes racing by – that is classic. Great to see them all having so much fun.
Nobody went for a swim?
How fun for his first beach trip! Poor Penny is a pest like Bailie, but they will mature at some point…I hope!
we couldn’t agree with you more! Soooo happy to see Doc SMILING like that!!!
I love seeing happy dogs and this post definitely is full of them! Doc surely fits in well with your group, and it is perfectly fine to stop and take a break when you need one, and watch the hoopla as it races past you!
yea finally fun in the sun.. Let the romping begin the energy has built up all winter
Thank goodness our foot of ice on the front walkway is finally melting! And we finally can let our sheltie hang out on the front porch! 🙂 Ellie
Those first warm days are always so exciting! For us and our pups, obviously.
Look at doc go he’s in heaven
Ohh I am heading over to America tomorrow from UK so keep that sun in the continent :-).
