My brother has a small but sunny backyard, perfect for soaking up rays
On her best days Penny can be a lot to handle, but with post-surgery energy Penny attached herself to Doc’s hip
She couldn’t help herself and followed her cousin around the entire yard
At this point, Doc did what any sane pup would and hopped the fence to escape Penny! Luckily my brother was able to coax him right back.
It’s not a great photo, but that’s Doc on the left flying back into the yard
The pups quickly settled down to enjoy grass under their paws and the sun overhead
Although I kept Penny’s movement to a minimum, I’ve found the a great recipe to tire her out. Bake her. Not literally, of course! What I mean is that time in the sun really bakes the pups and helps exhaust them even without much running..
Love seeing those big smiles on a warm day
In fact, Penny got so hot she retreated to the shade of the deck and zonked out on the cool concrete
Another day, another tally mark on the wall. We’re almost there!
that photo of Doc trying to escape has me rolling with laughter!!! Apparently “playing hard to get” is a concept that flies right by Penny!! lol! Well, it used to for me in my early dating days too!!! lol! Have a great day!
i love to see the pups with their pals – Doc looks like he is doing really well, even with a young and fun loving girl tagging after him
well… seems I’m a walking disaster area on that front… we have 50 shades of grey on the sky and it’s cold outside…sigh… but I hope for some sun to try your trick… :o)
OMG! Penny’s face in the sun says it all. “Turn me loose, Will! I’m about to explode with excitement!” I hear ha, girl. Hang on.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Doc wonders how Eko copes.
Amazing how a visit with the “Doc” helped Penny so much! Glad they all had a good time.
Yay – lovely to see Doc again too – three happy pups in the sunshine, hard to beat really. Doing well team.
Outstanding! Just a few more days with Doc’s playing hard to get and Penny should be ready for the boys at the beach. I wonder if they know about the ‘hurricane’ ready to descend on them? 😉
Just found your blog as I’m new to the WordPress world. Love the pups and really hope that Penny gets better soon 🙂
I love the pic of Doc trying to escape. Glad Penny is doing well.
We hear the clock ticking until wild time returns!
Lovely pigtures

those are some great smiles, so much fun!
Poor pup…hope her sentence is up soon.
Hard to imagine having ALL THAT ENERGY with nowhere to put it!!!!!
Pam

I get really tired in the sun too but I love it.
