Even with a full beach of dogs to choose from, Penny will beg for Eko to play with her
While Eko may shrug off offers from other pups, he never turns down an invitation from his sister
Nothing makes Penny smile quite like trying to keep up with Eko
And nothing makes Eko bounce around like a puppy more than having Penny hot on his tail
I love all our time at the beach, but nothing makes me happier than when I see these two playing together
Clearly nothing makes them happier either!
Except for maybe making the cameraman jump out of the way every time they fly by. I’m pretty sure they do it on purpose just for yucks
Of course we love to play, but around here we also play to love!
What a special relationship Eko and Penny have. Ruby and Boca play well together, too, and watching them brings me such joy.
they are fabulous together… I must laugh as I watched their tail positions, they look like question marks, exclamation marks and commas :o)
It is a special relationship that they have and you and Emily are a BIG part of that equation……….when you’re brought up surrounded by love, you are more able to, in turn, project that love to those around you and those pups love you all fiercely – it’s a dynamic made in heaven for all of you!
Pam
The gang of two.
When a RR ownes you, you quickly learn your steps and to move away 🙂
Nice photos… as always 😉
I love it. The yin and yang of the canine world. 🙂
They are so sweet!
When we were looking for a little sister for Dante we wanted a personality that would blend perfectly in our home. It took a lot of time, but Ziva has been a perfect match for us!
adorable!!
couldn’t agree more – our boys are the same. When we first brought Ziggy home – little bundle of fur (fat actually), Nico was like really. But then Ziggy climbed into Nicos bed with him and while the look on Nico’s face was priceless he didn’t kick him out just took it in his stride and they’ve been besties ever since.
they are burning rubber forsure
Will, how old is Echo and do you think that Penny being female had anything to do with their affinity for each other. We adopted a female Rottweiler from the pound in Jacksonville after our beloved Leonberger Titan died unexpectedly. We had no idea of Karma’s background; the pound estimated her as about 3 and said she must have given birth recently as she was still lactating when found. She was the only dog in the house for about 3 months. Then we received an unexpected call from Leo Rescue and we adopted Orflaith, another female, at 4 years old. They tolerate each other. The Leo is very subservient, except when food is involved. The Rottie definetly bosses her around. But I don’t see any real bond of affection between them. I would say that Karma is definitely jealous of Orflaith, especially when affection is being given. We are very careful to treat them equally. One never gets a pet or a treat that the other does not. They are always taken for walks and excursions together. Yet they do not appear to have bonded(it has been over 5 years) and they usually spend their days at opposite ends of the house. I often wonder if it is the two female issue. Opinions?
I love those flying ears and happy faces!
So great to be best buds in the same family! 🙂
