With that in mind I wanted to look back on summer and share some fun photos which never made it on the blog
We dug right in to making the most of this short summer
We certainly weren’t afraid to get a bit dirty in the process
There was no shortage of splashing
Dashing
Or crashing
And discovered cool new places
Summer’s light regretfully fades, but we certainly have no regrets about how we spent our time
With that, summer, we bid you adieu. But we’re in no rush to see you go, so hopefully you’ll take your time heading out the door!
Summer’s fading light indeed. Especially love that last image. Enjoy the last of the dog days of August but…bring it on, September-our favorite month! 🙂
ah yes!!…sigh….its time to put on ‘the boys of summer’….sigh….
Will: I hope you write a book one day soon. You have great inspiration about you, all about and around you… I look forward to that…
The last weekend of August always makes me sad…Another year starts..I tend to view new year’s at the beginning of Sept., having been a student for so long.
Take care all, and have a great year till those wonderful carefree summers days return. Keep warm! my dear friends Eko, and Wildchild Penny.
Our summer is on the way to Oz too… but now we have Halloween and you can create a new ridgeback-pumpkin and we can write our wishlist for Santa… that’s good too :o)
Summer lasts until the middle of October here in Arizona. It starts again in the middle of May.
The last picture of Eko at sunset (?) is spectacular! A fitting way to bid goodbye to the season. We love fall the best. Warm days. Cool nights. My old guys appreciate the weather more as romping in the hot sun isn’t easy for them anymore.
Enjoy the new adventures at the beach. 🙂
We are ready for summer to leave, it is our least favorite time of year. Right now we have mornings where we can see our breath on our walks and it suits us all wonderfully! You guys have the beach. If we had Montrose beach, we would enjoy summer more for sure.
I’m in Florida. It’s summer almost all year long. Except December -January when it’s freezing cold. *ear licks* Noodle
Fall is my favorite time of year, and our Riley enjoys the cooler walks in the morning too. Ms Bentley will be celebrating her first fall, with all the fun times (ghosts , goblins, pumpkins and turkey dinner). That last photo of Eko says it all “Farewell summer, hello fall”. I bet the pups will enjoy the shorter walks to the beach this fall too, and more time in front of the fireplace
It won’t matter what season it is, as long as you can still go to the beach. Summer leaves, but the fun lives on….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
it is going to be super hot next week so no worries!!!! I love all of the photos but the last one is truly incredible!
Lol, I’m the same way! September = fall. Or at least, not summer. It’s like winter starting December 21st (or whenever it is this year; I never know now!). It may technically, but in reality it starts way before that! I’m the biggest baby when it comes to fall starting because it’s my least favorite season. But I’m going to try my best to enjoy it as best I can! 😀 (I love that last picture of Eko…so beautiful!)
Great summer images…our Spring starts on the 1st Septembet…but Winter still has her icy claws in us…usually our Spring starts mild and short and we seem to get bang into foul heat quicker every year…so i will hang on to Winter…you guys can have a little longer Summer and we all win 😉
You picked a great gallery of photos.
