Romp, Recharge, Repeat

We all made it in one piece to my mom’s house last night. All of us except my laptop.

After 4+ years of service, I think it’s finally time to retire the little guy (the laptop, not Eko)

I’ve recorded a bunch of stuff from our vacation, but I’ll post it next week once I have a computer than can turn on in under ten minutes.

My laptop wasn’t the only one tuckered out after our time romping through the trails of Northern NJ,

Eko and Penny claimed this chair and slept like a couple rocks

And it’s a good thing they got that sleep, because this morning there was someone quite eager to see them

Auggie!

Penny and Auggie picked up right where they left off. The wild rumpus is in full swing

My laptop feels and sounds like it’s about to melt, so I’m going to run! Hope everyone has a great weekend – we’ll catch up next week with a full report of our trip.

  1. Glad you made it to your mom’s house and glad Penny and Auggie are taking up where they last left off😊. I hope you have great weather and your laptop survives the rest of your vacation. Whose Eko going to play with besides you and Emily?

  2. Is Auggie a shaved Old English Sheepdog? He looks so much like my Pippin! He died in 1987 and I still find myself looking out the window for him. When I saw Auggie, I burst into tears. Does your Mom have a fenced in yard as Emily’s parents do? I hope so. I would love to see the antics Penny, Mr. Eko and Auggie could get into with a little free range. So glad your are all home safe and sound and I am looking forward to those vacation photos!

  3. Mom’s laptops last about three years and then the weird stuff starts to happen. Some people say she is crazy to get a new one after only three years, but she lives from it, so it is really well used. Those occasional users can get away with keeping one for many more years, not computer folks.
