A Case of Freaky Friday

At this point, Eko and Penny have a pretty well-defined relationship. A relationship most easily summed up by this photo: “Save me!” Penny is our wild child. Our Instigator in Chief. But every once in awhile, the pups undergo the Freaky Friday treatment and seem to swap minds.

“Save me!”

Penny is our wild child. Our Instigator in Chief. But every once in awhile, the pups undergo the Freaky Friday treatment and seem to swap minds.

Maybe it was because we were away for the weekend, but yesterday was one of those days. Rhodesian Ridgeback, blog, chicago, montrose beach,

Eko took a deep breath of fresh air and decided, “Yes, today would be a good day to terrorize my sister.”

So Eko did just that! He had Penny on the run all afternoon

And with that impish grin, I’d say he quite enjoyed himself

“Hey, I’m supposed to be the annoying one!”

I love when Eko reminds Penny that he was the original wild child and can still play the part quite well

Does anyone else with multiple pets ever have Freaky Friday moments when it seems like personalities have swapped?

Comments for A Case of Freaky Friday

We have Fridays like that 🙂 I tought it was because of vitamins I give them before winter 🙂 our male became wild dog these days 🙂
Funny, he is usually so calm and lazy. Now he acts like when he was a little puppy.

    Best regards!

  2. Emmadog says:

When Katie and I used to play together it was more mixed. These days it is almost always Bailie’s thing to be the best pest in the west. Nice to see Penny get some of her own medicine!

  3. Kismet says:

Nope. I don’t do dog and Kaci and Kali don’t bird.

  4. coastingnz says:

haha snap! Nico was doing just that to Ziggy yesterday on the beach!

  5. Genevieve says:

Penny’s face in the second picture is priceless! That just sums up the shock of the switcheroo.

  6. Joan says:

Young sis Sadie loves to annoy her big brother Buddy to no end! But there are times, especially at night while trying to watch tv, Buddy will decide to instigate a battle with a sleeping Sadie.

  7. Elyse says:

I can’t wait for the movie!

  8. stephumina says:

Eko is just restoring the balance and reminding Penny that he’s still the big brother. My two pups don’t live together all the time and normally the older one has no interest in toys or playing but occasionally despite Nala’s constant pestering but then you’ll find one day Max is just full of beans and the tables have turned on Nala because he’s twice her size.

  9. raisingdaisy says:

Who knows what went on over the weekend that Eko is now repaying Penny for? Good to see he can still take control! I love her expression in that second pic.

  10. Way to go Eko you tell penny who’s the boss
