[VIDEO] Eko The Camera Dog

Automation is the future. That’s why I’m slowly training Eko and Penny to take over the blog. For starters, Eko took over video duty for our trip to Prairie Wolf Dog preserve. Check out the trip from his point of view: https://youtu.be/Le_e08xluTs

Comments for [VIDEO] Eko The Camera Dog

  1. that’s great to see it “like a dog”, everything is different and I have to admit that I stopped my breath as he met the GSD….

  2. Love the ear action! Great job, Eko. Glad you didn’t roll over the camera into the mud. I guess that’s why Will chose the responsible pup. No telling what Penny would have done to the GoPro.

  3. Emmadog says:

My camera always falls off to my side too and I get the same dizzying video Eko got, but it is still fun for you humans to see life from our canine perspective.

  4. Victoria says:

I love his “airborne” ears, especially when he is drying off – they are so cute! Great camera work – both of you! Have a great weekend.

  5. dashlilly says:

Well Done! Love that game of tag from Eko’s view point! ESPN is calling –Eko is hired!

  6. Will, that is awesome! Eko is a great camera guy! John

Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Smartphone that does whatever it pleases

  7. cdog5 says:

This is a great video, Will (sorry, yesterday I misspelled your name, “Wil” — I have a Dutch friend with that name). Your videos are so professional, fun to watch, terrific narratives!

  8. Kismet says:

My peeps could put a cam on me to get a bird’s eye view. Unfortunately, the added weight means I’d never get off the ground.

  9. Connie Taylor says:

Why not put the camera on backwards to see what Eko is leaving behind him! Loved the video

  10. Jeff says:

Great shots from you both. Though I think I’ve seen a go pro dog harness that puts the camera on the dogs chest under the head.

  11. coastingnz says:

priceless – really shows how much of a workout those ears get lol

  12. Brilliant video, Eko! I bet you’ll be doing the voiceover on the next video! 🙂

  13. Good work, E. Every GoPro video I do is also a little off to the side. Seriously, Mom needs to step it up. Tighten that FetchHarness and center the camera, lady. It ain’t rocket science.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  14. rose says:

Eko has a lot of bounce/ spring in his step!

  15. KDKH says:

I loved your still pictures! As much as I love the action, I almost got motion-sick with the video!

  16. Your photos were gorgeous Will with Eko taking over video duty!

  17. Wow, love how stable the video is compared to ours! We tried it on Lycan a few times and the video was really shakey so we gave up on that.

  18. what a fun video! Thanks Eko for your view.

  19. Impressive work Will & Eko. I can’t fathom trying one out (though I’d really love to) – I can barely get stills to look decent. Signed, Hopeless in Denver. 😉
