Leo is the cutest little stinker
Recently we invited Andrew, Megan and Leo over for another playdate. I couldn’t wait to see the little pup. Except there was one problem. Someone stole their puppy and replaced him with this dog:
Where did Leo go!?!?
Andrew and Megan insist this Leo is the same Leo we met, but I’m not sure. Neither are Eko and Penny.
They towered over Leo less than two months ago
Now they look back at me saying, “No way this is the same guy.”
Despite our uncertainty, we welcomed the new Leo with open arms. Penny even decided to show him a few tricks.
“Ok, you see how Andrew has food? Now go over there and overwhelm him with cuteness in hopes he drops some.”
“Nice try kid, you almost had it.”
I’ll admit, this new Leo did have some striking similarities to the puppy we met.
He knew how to beg for a turn with the antler
And he certainly knew how to give those same puppy-eyes
The pups and I still think Andrew and Megan might be pranking us. But new Leo seems like a sweetheart so I guess we’ll play along.
Imposter or not, this cuddle monster is impossible not to love
Alright new Leo, we won’t report you to the authorities, but we’re watching you closely. We even took down your dimensions – you’re nearly Penny’s height, you’re about twice as wide and you tip the scales around fifty pounds.
If the next time we schedule a playdate with Leo, Megan and Andrew show up with a dog twice this size we’ll know they’re messing with us. Surely no dog can grow this quickly…
Good grief that is a cute pup! Next time he’ll be as big as Eko and Penny put together!
I had to look up the Bernese Mountain Dog. You will definitely be seeing lots more of Leo. And I don’t mean time-wise!
Oh he is adorable! Our Charlie — a Berner — grew so quickly we weren’t supposed to walk him very far for the first year for fear of damaging his hips.
Now I know why Leo is a Mountain dog-he’s as big as a mountain.
He sure is adorable and growing super fast – with lots more growing still to do. He is going to be one big big cuddle lump lol
twice his size in no time – watch out on the next play date – he will be big enough to make Penny think twice about playtime (ok its Penny so maybe not!)
OMG his face is precious!! He SMILES!! I love it! I just love Bernese Mountain Dogs, their coloring is so wonderful, they look like walking stuffed animals lol. I bet you all had a blast!
Such an adorable breed. They are super common in Germany, so we always saw a lot of them. Pretty soon the little one will be a giant.
If you thought Leo grew fast then you have never been around a Great Dane puppy.
WHOA! Leo…or should I say”Leo”…is HUGE! I don’t think that’s the same guy. Nope. Not at all. *ear licks* Noodle
Oh boy! I think at the next play date, you’ll have to call the authorities.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
And Leo still has that adorable pupster smile on his face. Too cute. 😉
Love him – so cute. These are one of my favorite kinds of dogs.
handsome devil, he’s getting so big.
