Tripp is about the size of Eko and Penny combined, which is good, because they both love romping with him at the same time
Tripp gamely led the Ridgeback trio on a mighty charge
Tripp isn’t as fast as Eko or Penny, but he has some fun tactics to make up for it. Once the pups catch him…
He throws on the brakes to let Eko and Penny fly by
On a day where I needed the pups doubly tired
Tripp was the one dog up to the task
With his brake maneuver, Tripp probably made Eko and Penny run twice as far as he did
Thanks to Tripp, Eko and Penny should hopefully snore the whole ride home.
Tripp is enormous! This photos are especially beautiful – they look like paintings.
the three Ridge-keteers on the beach :o) they look great when the run together :o)
Fantastic pictures and beautiful dogs 🙂
Tripp is HUGE and one SMART pup! I am shocked that he is so much larger than Eko and Penny!
interesting that we can romp by the water in December our grass is still green
Tripp! He’s a crafty, shrewd giant! Exactly they you needed….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
perhaps Penny met her match there – he is pretty crafty- have a safe trip
That is classic! Wow Tripp is huge though eh. Love that braking technique – that’s one smart boy and talk about timing for you. Safe travels – hope the pups do sleep well and we’ll see you when you get there……
Great workout tactic! Have a safe trip.
Wow Tripp is HUGE! Look at those jowls in the last shot- love it!
Hi Will!
I’ve enjoyed reading your blog and I’m sure you get inquiries like this all the time, but I was hoping we could chat about the breeder you got your pups from. I’ve been set on a RR for 4+ years now, and am finally in a position to be a responsible doggy mom!
I’ve done a lot of research online, and am struggling to find the right breeder to get my first RR from.
If you have some time after the holidays, might you be willing to connect with me on this? I live in the city of Chicago and would love to email/chat over the phone, whatever works best!
Thanks so much,
Ashley
*jaw drops* Tripp is HUGE!
How fun they have a Ridgeback friend.
It may not exactly be what Cecil Rhodes had in mind for his Rhodes scholars.
Safe travels. Looks like a great exercise partner for tiring out pups.
Gosh! Chicago must be Ridgeback Central :-). Hope you, the pups and the family all have a wonderful holiday.
How fun! 🙂
Have a safe trip, and hope the roads are smooth for the sleeping pups ! If we don’t hear from you till after Christmas, we understand catching up with family, etc. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all
Just love the story. Did not know Ridgebacks got so large. Love Penny n Eko expressions.
Will,
Me and my sis truly enjoy readingy your blog. It’s become part of our daily routine. We often say ‘have you seen the latest one?’. It brings us great joy and reminds us of our Pino (especially Eko). Pino was our introduction to Ridgebacks. Lucky for us because before that we never heard of the breed – can you believe that?! Now…we adore ridgebacks. Their behaviours, face and heart of lion while simultaneously being cuddle monsters. One day we will have another until then we rely on Eko and Penny for our daily fix. May you and Emily have a joyous holiday season and safe travels.
P.
