Try to stealth hump an unsuspecting Penny?
You’re going to have a bad time
Jump directly on Penny’s head?
You should probably start running
A funny thing I’ve recently noticed about Penny’s would-be muggers is they always run in the same direction.
Towards me!
I guess they figure since the pink maniac is with me, I can get her to stop chasing them
But like Eko, I just prefer to kick back and watch Penny turn the tables
“You want to dance, pretty boy? Let’s dance!”
Then it’s my turn to dance out of the way of the hasty retreat
As her pupils streak away across the sand, Penny stops and turns to me with a grin.
Students usually have all the fun, but I think Penny is quite content with her new position as Professor of Dog Park Etiquette.
oh Will I was hoping for a continuation of the instagram video posted today with Eko as the best man. He is the apple of my eye. Please do share that asap, and by the way where did EKo get his suit from?
all your posts are fabulous by the way…
that reminds me of my childhood… some kids came to my parents too and said: look what YOUR daughter did to me :o) Easy did the same like the unhappy shar-pei pup once with his sister, boy how that girl paddled his butt :o)
Love your blog! Great shots of your beautiful pups never fail to make me smile (or giggle 🙂 Thank you!
Or the Princess of Dog Park Etiquette…
their reactions to her response are priceless – i like the sneak hump dog – he looks completely taken by surprise – got love a girl who knows how to keep the boys in line!
Yep, Lilly is much like Penny–when she doesn’t want to be bugged by some sniffing pup… she gives a “swirling snarl” that puts everyone in their place. She’s the boss, that’s for sure!
Penny should have a warning label.
Love a girl who stands up for herself! Well done, Ms. Penny. ღ
I am so going to start shouting “stealth hump!” at the dog beach every time I see it happen!! Thank you for your contribution to my lexicon!
Go Penny – great shots as always showcasing exactly what’s happening by the looks on their faces – classic.
She sure does have a blast!
Our girl, Penny knows all the tricks. She has been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. She’s the perfect teacher for those young thugs.
Yes just short of her second birthday Nikki started to put other dogs in line. Before that she didn’t know how to handle would be rapists but now if some fool tries that move she unleashes all the fires of hell on him.
HaHa don’t mess with girls 😉
Hello Will. Eko and Penny!
I don´t have a RR of my own yet but I came across your blog when I searched for information about the breed. I think you do a wonderful job, with the blog and the dogs! They seem to have fun and healthy life!
I´m from Sweden so I can´t help but notice that there seems to be diffrences between RR´s here and on the other side of the Atlantic. It would be very intresting if you wrote something on the subject of breeding. What are breeders in the US looking for and what are their goals with the breed? In general terms of course! Here in Sweden many of the breeders focus on mentality because of some problems with fear in many RRs. Are there a lot of problems with DS in the US or do you have other health issues? What is the general opinon do you think; looks over mentality or the other way around? Many breeds suffers from extreme breeding, such as the german shepard, pugs and other short-nosed breeds, shar-pei etc, the RR seems to be an over all healthy breed but are there any tendencies to look out for?
Many questions for you but I think breeding is so interesting and more times than not they do it right but the fact is that some breeders has lost sight of what is best for the dogs so I think we should always talk about negative tendencies in breeding so that we avoid loosing our beautiful and healthy breed.
Oh, and our puppy will hopefully move in with us this summer!
// a fan from Sweden
She don’t put up with no humping! lol
A woman after my own heart! 😀
