“Emily, you will move so I can get a more comfy spot…”
But the idea of our pets using mind control is laughable…right?
And surely Eko could resist those powers…I think?
Whew, good. Emily and Eko proved Penny definitely does not have mind control powers
Wait a second, why does it look like they’re both suddenly acquiescing?Â
How did this happen!? And why do I feel compelled to give Penny extra treats?
I guess the real question isn’t whether our pets have mind control, but whether it even matters. They seem to always get what they want either way!
they sure have such a thing… and I’m fine with that… even when it is uncomfy to get frozen in my pj while the pup counts the stars 3 am in the back yard :o)
i love Penny’s “and you question my power mere mortal” look in the last pic!
I need to use mind control because I’m still working on my English.
Love and licks,

We are pretty much the bosses around here. We know how to get what we want when we want it in a subtle way that makes Mom think it was her idea.
It’s the eyes, or the whine, or the paw…….. but yes they definitely have something going on.
All of my ridgebacks practiced the silent command “drop it, drop it, drop it” when I or anyone else nearby was holding food. And it works more often than you would suspect. A LOT more often than pure chance. Mind control indeed.
Mind control is one of the first things we practice on our humans when we start living with them…..and we only get BETTER with time…..and humans get weaker willed – it’s a GRAND symbiotic relationship!

stare athon is what I use.. I am too sexy for my paws
Penny needs to control herself before she starts on anyone else!
I ask myself almost every day, “Who’s training who??”
hahaha yes they get what they need in the end.
And that’s wrong because…why??
Cause penny is so darn adorable, they both are
emily’s expressions in reaction to the dogs are priceless! 🙂
