That’s a mighty big collar to fill!
Lincoln got Eko’s blanket and Zero is wearing his collar, so now they are wrapped in Eko’s spirit. It’s good to see light back in your life. Lincoln is growing so fast. He is a beautiful little boy.
Have a wonder weekend celebrating Eko’s love.

  8. Kismet says:

It sounds like you should get yet another dog-there’s always room.

This video says it best! The love we have for the ones lost is never gone just have moved over so a new love can share the joys and help the heart heal and yes I do believe they watch over us too. Have a good weekend with HUGS to everyone!

Beautiful. We love and miss you too Eko. We all have such fond memories – they help us go on and they help us grow. Never stop missing those that have left us though. Hope you’ve having a great time playing with Nico – I like to think Eko was waiting with all Nico’s doggy friends and they’re all now running around having a blast but keeping an eye on those they left behind.

  12. MaryAnn Traylor says:

As usual, Will, you hit the nail on the head. I also passed on the collars of my first Ridgebacks, Rocco and Rio, to my new RR pups, Rudy and Rip. No matter what, there is always more love to share. Thanks so much for sharing your old and new adventures, and your beautiful family, with us. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Thanks again for reminding me (and everyone) that it is ok to adopt a dog while still mourning the loss of another. This December will be one year since my beautiful Jade (pit bull rescue) passed away. In January, I adopted/rescued another pit bull. Of course I was still reeling from the loss of Jade, and I found myself having to justify to people how I could possibly get another dog so soon after losing Jade. It had nothing to do with mourning Jade-that will be happening for a long time to come. It had everything to do with my love of dogs, my desire to rescue unwanted pit bulls, and the need to always have one by my side. Like you said, “there is always room for love”!

  14. Robyn B. says:

Thank you for that beautiful video of your family, Will. You will NEVER forget Eko. I remember all of the dogs that have lived in my life, every since childhood. Each unique and special in their own way and each terribly missed and loved. Eko lives on forever! You were so blessed to have had him, just as he was blessed to have had each of you. I truly believe that one day we will all be reunited in a wonderful place. Until then we have our pictures and memories to fill that void they left behind. Have a fun weekend with your lovely crew. God bless!!!!

  15. Beautiful, Will. Good for you.

  16. Emmadog says:

Love is meant to be shared and never stopped sometimes it takes longer than others to love again, but we know when the time is right. We now wear some of Katie’s collars because we feel it is time. The more love you have and share the better life is!
