The Age of Mayhem
Tomorrow, Penny Mayhem turns 8. If there was ever an age that belonged to my girl, it is this one. The number whose symbol is infinity stood upon its head. Fitting, because in a race between Penny and our infinite cosmos, infinity is starting to sweat. Read More
Thanks for the video. We did have a ridgeless Ridgeback and were always having to explain the name. Many well meaning people would tell us they could see the ridge. But you are right about the cabal.
Your post was hilarious. that’s how my “Ridge” got his name. When we rescued him, we hated the name he arrived with so needed to re-name him but just couldn’t find the right name. After a month of dithering, a friend of mine said he needs a ridge, give him one. So we did. Think of the grooming and shaping we have saved ourselves.
hahaha great! now the two want a ridge too… shall I try it? Happy Easter to you and your furmily
Always enjoy your posts and look forward to them. I fell in love with Eko since the two of you started out on your adventures and have been following Marking Our Territory ever since. You have come a long way and I have learned a lot about Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Happy Easter to you and your family. Sue N.
Next you are going to tell me there is no Santa Claus or Easter Rabbit? Say it ain’t so Will! I appreciate your candor and forthrightness. Love your posts!
Finally people will know! The hours of prep required to get Diesel ready for public appearances. …… that was to funny thank you, cabin fever has set in here too. My Ridgeback and I are going bonkers without our off leash time. We needed this video.
Finally! I’m gonna trim that Ridge into Pedro…although I doubt he’ll submit to the clippers …
Clearly the burden quarantine led you to tell this secret to the world. So you will be forgiven Will for this giant mistake. Under one condition: from now on you will shave my dog’a ridge with the same perfection as those of Penny and Zero. Every single day!
Happy Easter, Will, to you and to your family and stay safe and keep up your great spirit

Always thought they walked into the barbershop and just asked for fade.
Your April Fool’s post was just a little late.
I hadn’t thought about using the clippers before. I’ve always used massive amounts of hairspray whenever Neeka and Khoi left the house. Since they don’t like water, I haven’t worried too much about it washing out. Winter sweaters though, are a godsend.
Happy quarantine, Will!
Wait, is this some sort of belated April Fools post?
wow you really are bored….. lol Thanks for my morning giggle. Kia Kaha (stay strong)
That’s the best conspiracy theory I’ve heard!
Oh I know I am a day late but this video should have been watched but with my own dog it got pushed to the side and finally this am I was able to watch in peace and boy did NOT disappoint – THANKS for the giggles!! Hope you and the family are safe and until Next Time when Emily lets you post another video!
Cassie and I are no longer defects. Yeah! She celebrated this morning running back and forth on her long run no coat 34 degrees lol
Hang in there! You’re going to make it through this!! (and find your sanity again….)
oh dear! must be cabin fever .. stay strong 😉
Aww, this video made my day! lol
