Iron Doggy isn’t just my favorite running leash. It’s my favorite parenting leash, photography leash and adventure leash. If you’re looking for the ultimate hands-free leash, I can’t recommend Iron Doggy highly enough. Ours has been battled teste for years and still looks and works great. Use our code RIDGEBACKS for 10% off at Iron Doggy

In this video we demonstrate using both the streamlined “Sidekick” version, and the more robust “Runner’s Choice.” Both are fantastic and come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I recommend reading both of the product page descriptions to figure which leash will best suit your needs. If you have any questions about choosing, let me know!

Comments for Running with Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Iron Doggy

  1. how can you manage a kid a ball and two leashes? well done, that is art or a magic trick ;O)

  2. Jo Rhodes says:

Will! It’s been a while. You guys look great. My boys are small. I walk / run them on my bike as I’m not stable enough to walk. Can the Iron Doggy be adaptable as a bike leash?
    Love Jo, Sam and Dean

  3. That is for sure the perfect leash system for you adventurers!

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  4. What a great leash set up for active families with pets.

  5. Ken says:

Love your site; I’ve been running w/Ridgebacks since 1996 (5 awesome RRs). For my current pair, I was thinking about moving over to a harness v. the martingale collars I’ve always used. Be interested in your perspective.

  6. Jodi Wood says:

I know I’m watching this several months late (aaaa Covid alters my regular activities!) But wondering if you can help me decide which to order after I’m looking at their website. I just have one ridgeback, pretty good on a leash. Don’t think I need 50ish” of leash? You said you like the smaller one? Is it plenty of lead, 37”? Also, I never use a long leash anyway, hate it dragging. Excited to try this out cause I know you’ve used for years. Followed you forever. Thanks!!
