“Hey, Penny. Bet I can balance more treats on my nose than you can. Winner keeps the treats.”
“Treats? You’re one!”
“We’ll start easy.”
“No sweat, bro.”
“How about three?”
“All too easy.”
“Alright, punk. Try five on for size.”
“I’ll do you one better.”
“You’ve had your fun. Ten is the new mark.”
“TEN!?” *gulp*
Better luck next year, Pen.
Although the game was set with high-stakes, for the sake of all our sanity Eko wisely shared his winnings with Penny.
The real victory was showing Penny that an old dog still has a few things to teach her!
Eko, you sure have balance and willpower! Fun challenge!
Way to go Eko. You’ve got to be the cool, big brother in many ways — including how many treats you can balance! But we have to agree… 10 is very impressive!
Yikes, 10?! Like Penny I’m super impressed. Way to go, Eko!
you are amazing, I love your blog! This is one of my favorites!!
oh the 5-treats look is priceless… Eko you could be the gunslinger in the next western :o) you can play that game with me Penny, I’m not even able to hold a morsel of a treat on my nose, so this will be easy for you :o)
Penny has a smaller lady-like nose. Less space.
2016 Olympics for “Balance” Gold Award goes to Eko and Penny gets Silver!! (Will, you get the Bronze award for being the snack provider). Thanks for a great way to start a hectic Monday, I needed a good laugh and your kids didn’t fail me!!
I’d be totally inept. Nobody has ever seen a bird with a big enough nose for that.
oh they both deserve medals for that effort. Well done Eko and Penny. Love the looks on their faces – beautifully captured.
Now there’s some Will Power Neeka and Khoi get their eyes stuck whenever we try to teach them that trick. Not to mention, having something so tasty do close to his nose is maddening. You have two very special Ridgies!
Medals for the two competitors and and the awesome photographer. Their faces inspired me to focus today. Most important they made me laugh to tears. Their faces have so much character. They speak volumes! Don’t know if that is an expression used in the English language but you get what I mean. Serious Eko with the expression of a PHD and crosseyed Penny. Priceless!
VERY impressive you two! VERY!
Hugs, Sammy
TEN!?? You’re Batman, E. That’s amazing. Actually balancing ONE treat is amazing around here.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
that series of photos was just fabulous! love it!!
Now that is self-control!! Good job, Eko. Stay one step ahead of that girl!
This was freaken awesome!!!
How about pizzas on their noses? That would be epic!
