With a bonus shot of Penny getting snow in her nose
And here’s what my patio looked like Sunday morning:
The blizzard dropped snow for over a day
As if making up for a mild December and January, Mother Nature quickly piled on the powder to kick off February. I couldn’t wait to introduce my little force of nature to her first blizzard. Penny liked her first taste of snow so it was no surprise she dove head first into the blizzard.
Literally, she dove head first into the blizzard
Eko tried to savor the experience
But Penny begged him to romp
The pups and the snow swirled around me
My wildchild Penny couldn’t get enough of barreling through the snow drifts
But, yeah, she’s still learning to brake in winter conditions
One of my favorite traditions is to go for a night time walk after a heavy snowfall. The world is quiet, peaceful and beautifulÂ
At the park, the only sound was the pups’ paws dashing through the snow
One happy girl
Back at home, we settled into the couch, covered with blankets. Blizzards are great for two things – playing outside and curling up inside. Thankfully I have Eko and Penny to help me accomplish both!
