Upon our arrival to NJ, Eko and Scout greeted each other with a frolicking romp that nearly took out every piece of furniture in the house. Afterwards I was treated to a scene which I haven’t witnessed in about two years – Eko tattling on his big sister.
As a little puppy, Eko could never hope to take a bone from Scout by force so he would always whine to me for help. Even though he is plenty big enough to hold his own these days, Eko completely reverted to puppy mode when he wanted this bone
I wasn’t offering any help, so Eko whined and pawed at Scout. He was too scared to go for the steal though
Scout yawned at Eko’s offer of conciliatory kisses
Eko tried to whine his way to the prize from multiple angles
Eko did not appreciate my laughter! He did his best puppy-dog-eyes begging but I didn’t budge
Can’t you just see the longing in his face!
Just when I though Eko would explode with envy, Scout decided to walk away and Eko immediately pounced!
Despite the fact that they haven’t seen each other in nearly a year, Eko and Scout slipped immediately back into their familiar roles. Sure, Eko has about four inches and twenty pounds on Scout but a big sister is always a big sister!
