Brash and bold and dive bombing Eko from the top of the couch, Penny certainly does not lack confidence in herself. But what’s important is for both of us to build a similarly iron-clad confidence in one another. One of the best ways to build that mutual trust is through obedience training – here’s a quick look at how we’re doing so far.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESJv6No1u9AWe have still got miles to go, but Penny clearly has plenty left in the gas tank to get us there!

Comments for [VIDEO] Building Puppy Confidence

  1. Emmadog says:

That soccer ball around her neck is just the funniest! Love seeing her with an antler too! She is doing great! Bailie and I have never had vacuum fear, but big strong Katie is still terrified of it. Happy obedience training!

  2. I laughed out loud multiple times during the video. I love your narration ALMOST as much as watching the Penny and Eko’s cuteness.

  3. I never saw such a “lie down” like Eko’s … I have to watch it again, that’s an interesting technique :o)

  4. Watching that clip with Eko and Penny made me remember when Artemis was a puppy and Apollo would do the same thing! He would try to get in front of Artemis though. “I can do it better and faster, give me a treat!”

  5. Mona Sigal says:

I am so in love with all of you! Cannot get enough videos of Princess Penny and Eko, the Musketeer!

  6. You’re doing great, P. But here are a couple of tips – 1. Your brother isn’t lunch. 2. The soccer ball isn’t an outfit. Besides that, you’re making good progress….

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  7. Victoria says:

she is so darn cute and Eko is so darn patient – they both are doing unbelievably well as are their puppy parents….by the way if you want to practice your vacuuming skills i have a floor or two you can use –

  8. fredrieka says:

    good job penny high paw

  9. Elyse says:

Wait! You have to TRAIN them? Sheesh …

  10. Julia M says:

Too funny – all of it! Absolutely love it!! And Penny looks like she’s on her way to becoming a total badass.

  11. Marcela says:

Lol. Penny loves to play. Will, I don’t know if you’ve noticed that Penny thinks and uses Eko as a chew toy. Am I wrong?

  12. harrispen says:

My favorite part was Penny “telling” Eko about how tough she was in class. Your videos always make me smile.

  13. Eko is BEYOND patient! OMG!!!!!!!! He deserves a ton of treats with that little dynamo!!!! You are all just the BEST!! Say hi to Emily too!!! Love seeing her!

  14. Alisa says:

Laughing over the soccer ball necklace! It looks like you guys are doing great with all the training…very impressed. She looks so enthusiastic! Roo only knows the sit and hand touch cues so far and the rest of her energy goes into practicing loose leash walking, crate training, working on the drop it cue and playing with her big brother. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by how much there is to teach?

  15. Misaki says:

    Penny is pawesome!

  16. Thanks for the latest video Will! It is always a highlight of my day! I forget how fast they grow. Eko is so funny when he comes in and does the “bored” version of training 🙂

  17. Penny is growing so fast…You guys look like you are having so much fun with her.

  18. Sweet just amazes me at the patience he has with Penny. Sweet Penny is sure growing. Wish I had a bit of her energy. lol Hugs and nose kisses
