[VIDEO] Puppy Tries New Dog Boots
Teaching Eko to wear dog boots was a long and hilarious escapade. Once Penny figured out she couldn’t eat the boots, she was ready to lace up and roll out. Not before some cute high stepping, of course. https://youtu.be/sf2sq1Bgw4A
girls and boots are the perfect match (said my mom) lol have a super weekend :o)
They are looking good and ready for more winter! We don’t mind out boots. Once the door is open we head out and forget we are wearing them.
That Penny-girl is quite the stylin’ pooch on the runway (or is it called beach-way?). Her boots look quite sturdy and I liked the little nubs on the bottom. What brand are they-Sam’s are smooth leather on the bottom and in some slick spots, they are more of a hinderance than a help.
What a good girl – she adjusted really well and her high stepping was adorable – poor Eko had no boots out in the weather but he sure didn’t seem to mind! Have a great weekend.
It’s all about the shoes isn’t it Penny! My guys haven’t really needed them, even tho we live where it does snow. Yes the ice melt is annoying but their pads seem pretty tough! Chalk it up to luck I guess.
This post does remind me of back when we had our Newfie. We would take her and her Ridgie brother to the Colorado backcountry for fun and exercise. Boots on both due to the snow. We didn’t have problems with them wearing them in general but within the 1st 100 yards of the trek, she would only be wearing 3! One always came off. Oh well. We just mixed and matched the remaining booties.
I didn’t think it was possible, but the boots actually make you FASTER, P. Wow!! I’m impressed!
Love and licks,
Just adorable! I had to watch Eko’s again because I had forgotten…..so much fun re-visiting that video and this one was a blast too!!! You have one fearless girl! Happy Weekend!
Love the look on Eko’s face when you first presented the boots – it was a bit like “oh no, I’m not looking, not those things”. Penny adjusted real quick – loved the prancing – she totally suits them.
We tried those, but they didn’t work well in the snow for us. 🙂 So now we use Ruffwear for lava rock terrain, and UltraPaws for snow!
I haven’t needed boots yet but would like to know the brand you used. We live in a rural area and just use Mushers Secret on their pads for the cold. If the icing gets worse this year again we may go to boots since we just rescued a Ridgeback Black Lab mix who has never seen snow or ice. Our female RR is somewhat seasoned but also may need the boots. Jackets are set.
Flying around the room? That’s my job. Penny isn’t a member of the bird union but I am.
So precious penny n eko are. Love their adventures. Thank u Will for posting
Oh bless her
Penny you are awesome!
