[VIDEO] Why I’m Grateful For My Dogs

I have so much to be thankful for in my life. I’m thankful for my pups, but I’m even more appreciative of their reminder to always show gratitude for the present moment. Since we’ll all be stuffing turkeys tomorrow and trying to stuff our waists in our pants on Friday,
I have so much to be thankful for in my life. I’m thankful for my pups, but I’m even more appreciative of their reminder to always show gratitude for the present moment. Since we’ll all be stuffing turkeys tomorrow and trying to stuff our waists in our pants on Friday, I thought I’d share this week’s video early. Safe travels to all those on their way today. https://youtu.be/56wh5Fh673E

Love the early Thanksgiving video – i love to see your two romp- there is nothing that makes me happier than watching my two play and have a blast doing it – you are right to be thankful for how well they get along – mine are yin to the other’s yang as well – play hard, rest hard and love hard – all things i am so very grateful for!

This will be Bentley’s first Thanksgiving, we got her last Black Friday (adoptions were half off on all black colored dogs). Our Riley has been filling her in on the going-on’s around the house, but he hasn’t mentioned the turkey, yet. So glad you’ll be with you family, two and four legged. So will we. Loved the video, perfect break for me to see while preparing for the big day tomorrow. (can’t wait for the left-overs on Friday!!)

  7. Great video for this holiday……….and we want to wish you, Emily, the pups and all your family a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    Love, Sammy and Mom Pam

Hope you and your gang have a very happy Thanksgiving.

  9. I agree with your sentiment! We’re thankful every day that Neeka and Khoi play so well together. Just yesterday they were ripping up the quickly deminishing beach along the rising river, when a 20×4 foot section fell 10 feet into the water; practically under their feet. Both jumped sideways, stopped their play, and stood there staring at the churning water down below. My heart skipped a beat. I ushered them inland a bit more. Play resumed. They’ll be bummed when the river reaches its normal heigth and their beach is gone. Me too, for that matter.
Happy Thanksgiving Will, Emily, Eko and Penny. And best of luck keeping the turkey and pies away from Penny! In our house, we will have to hide the pumpkin pie from Khoi. It’s his absolute favorite. Next to peanut butter.

  10. Wishing you and yours a lovely Thanksgiving with loads of many happy moments. 🙂

  11. Emmadog says:

We wanted so much for our Greek rescue lady to have a brother like Eko is to the Wild Child. She is now 6.5 years old and still very afraid of almost everything. We adopted her at 10 months and my guy had to literally cary her over the threshold because she would not enter the house by herself. We have tried everything under the sun to rehabilitate her without much effect although when friends and family come to visit and have not seen her for a while, do notice some improvements. Actually we very much doubt that she is a dog. According to us she is a girl in a dog suit. When it rains she does not want to go out because her hair will get wet. When it is windy she does not want to go out because her ears will fly. She prefers not to walk on the cobblestones because her pumps might get caught between the stones. It was quite an adapting period for us because our 13 year old Ridgeback mix we had before her, also a rescue, was like a tank. Strong, stable, social loner and always looking for adventure. And although we would love to get her a big brother or go on long hikes with her, we join you guys instead. So thank you Will, Emily, James, Doc, Eko and Penny for all your stories, video’s and photo’s. We enjoy and appreciate them immensely. Last but not least we are most gratefull that we may share our lives with this wonderful creature in a dog suit because hey, life is just so much better with a dog even if it is a little weird.

oh Brilliant. Was with you at the start – thankful yes, our pups so different but love each other, compliment each other, and then laugh, laugh, laugh some more – great video! Loved the I’m hot shot on the sofa and then the bath time and then the sofa snuggles finally Eko – darling, sweet Eko. They so remind me of our two boys it is uncanny. Just commenting to Stephen our boys are currently doing the “twins” sleep – in exactly the same positions – too funny. Happy thanksgiving to you all, enjoy the festivities in your new home and sharing with the whole family.

  15. Happy Thanksgiving. Hope your party goes great!

  16. Great video, hope your turkey day was filled with much love and good food.
